The Velvet Rope (TVR) is an on-site social club at 3533 SE Cesar E Chavez Blvd in Portland, established in 1997 according to its website. It covers 10,000 square feet and includes two full bars, a dance floor with a live DJ, hot tubs, showers and lockers on both levels, social spaces with pool tables and a stage, voyeur rooms, multiple private and open play areas including a couples-only area, and hardpoints for rope suspension. It opens three nights a week: Friday and Saturday 8pm to 3am and Sunday 8pm to 2am. Membership is bought in person at the front desk with a government-issued ID and includes a guided tour of the club; couples, single women and single men each have their own membership and one-night pass rates.
